Wedding in Orlando

Wedding in Orlando

Kristin followed her parents when they moved to Florida and Justin wasn’t far behind them.  The couple settled on the West Coast of Florida but wanted a wedding in Orlando.

After contacting Intimate Weddings of Orlando the couple chose the intimate package at the Estate House at Cypress Grove for their wedding in Orlando.

The Estate House at Cypress Grove is located just south of downtown Orlando in a beautiful sprawling park.  The historic home and the land for the park, were a gift from the original family to Orange County.  With towering bald cypress trees, streets lined with live oaks, and walking trails, this is a beautiful place for a wedding in Orlando.

Victoria with Intimate Weddings of Orlando worked with the couple to bring together a simple vendor team that would really see their vision for their wedding in Orlando.

Rev. Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an Orlando wedding officiant, worked with the couple to create a beautiful custom ceremony that was rich in love and laughter.  The touching Christian ceremony was filled with personalized vows, scripture passages, and Justin to write and tell him why they love each other.

Kristin wrote:  -he is patient (with me at least)

-he is funny

-he is not easily offended (EVER by almost anything) I admire this about him so much! It is a fantastic and rare quality.

-he is kind to everyone

-we both love our dogs like children

-he works hard

-he pushes me to try new things and go new places -I can tell him ANYTHING and he wont judge or make me feel bad for it -he is the person I want to tell everything to -he is my best friend -we always laugh and have fun together -he doesn’t take himself too serious Honestly he calms my restless spirit and makes me feel at peace with myself and everything around me. I feel better when he is next to me. Even when he is literally making me crazy I know I love him and everything will be okay.

Justin wrote:  Reasons why I love Kristin,

1 The unconditional love she has for her family and friends and everyone in her life

2 her beautiful smile and personality that lights up every room

3 the joy in which I and everyone instantly feels when she is around

4 the way she immediately became part of my family and never went back

5 The way everyone in my family loves her and is usually more excited when she comes to visit than I

6 that she is strong in her beliefs and keeps true to herself

7 her sense of humor and the way gets worked up over the worst jokes

8 the way she encourages me to pursue my goals and be the best person I can be in every aspect of life

9 the future she has envisioned for us and the life we get to share together and how its everything ive ever wanted in a person

10 The way we both treat our dogs as if they’re children

11 that one of the biggest risks she took in life was Traveling to visit me which has lead to us starting a life together

12 the way she randomly sings, almost any song and tries to get me to join knowing i won’t, I can always tell she is happiest when she is singing

13 that her hobbies and collections are just as childish as mine, were both just kids , old enough to do what we want

14 her sense of adventure, in trying new things, she is always willing to try something new once, we have been able to have many adventures and cross many things of our list of stuff we wanted to do since being kids and the best part is we have been able to share those experiences together

15 the biggest and most life changing adventure i’ve had in life is being with her

Edmund Rhodes with Rhodes Studios really did a great job photographing this intimate wedding.  From shots of the couple getting ready, the walk down the aisle to their ceremony, and on through the cake cutting, he really did a great job of capturing those moments for a lifetime.

Flowers by Lesley worked their floral magic again, with a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere of white roses and variegated Ficus, topped with stems that were wrapped in shite satin.  They really looked amazing!

Even with an intimate wedding you should always consider a wedding cake.  It feels like it is supposed to be there at every wedding.  Justin and Kristin felt the same way so they had the most delicious marble and amaretto wedding cake.  Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique made the cake and the aroma of sweet fresh buttercream icing filled the historic house.

We are so thankful for such a sweet couple to work with.  We wish them happiness for a lifetime.
