Nick and Abigail traveled from the United Kingdom for a family vacation in Orlando, Florida. During their planning process, they reached out to Victoria with Intimate Weddings of Orlando to discuss options for them to get married. At first, they looked at the venues close to the Walt Disney Eorld Resort, but after seeing pictures of Kraft Azalea Garden , they knew they had found their perfect location.
With 300 year old, towering bald cypress trees and a beautiful, Exedra in the park this romantic location has been the spot for thousands of weddings and proposals over the years.
Christopher Smith with Captured by Chris was there to make sure that every moment of the couples time in the park was captured on film for them to cherish and share for a lifetime. From photos of Abigail walking down the aisle, through the ceremony and into family pictures afterwards Chris did a great job!
Raining Roses made the most gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere for Nick and Abigail to have on their wedding day. The bouquet itself had more than 30 roses and completely fit the romantic vibe that they were looking for.
Rev Glynn Ferguson, an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant and the owner of Sensational Ceremonies, worked with Nick and Abigail to create a beautiful custom ceremony that really touched on their love for each other. He gave them a homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Nick wrote: I have known her for nearly 20 years and even though we haven’t been in a relationship that whole time our lives have intertwined through those years so it always seemed like it was meant to be. We have been by each other’s side through some very rough times but there is no one I’d rather go through them with. She is the person I can’t wait to see everyday either waking up or coming home from work. We make each other laugh, can talk nonsense for hours and I’m probably the only person that can deal with her massive Disney/Hallowen/Christmas obsession. She is the Minnie to my Mickey.
Abigail wrote: Nick came back into my life unexpectedly but also at a perfect time and falling in love with him was easy and the best choice I have ever made. Although this did take me 10 years of knowing each other in the distance to realise true love had been there all along.
I will never forget the day not knowing that one friendly like to his Facebook post would lead to a love so strong and happiness I could only imagine.
He is always there for me and has given me strength and courage over the past few years that I didn’t even know I had. Without his support, love and probably a lot of patience we wouldn’t be where we are today.
I could probably never find the words to tell him how much I appreciate him and thank him for everything he does for our family and I will always be truly grateful to have him by my side.
He amazes me with the love and care he has for my children and that nothing is ever too much. He’s not only changed my life but created a happy loving home for them too.
