Legal Love in Florida: Megan and Jonathan’s Magical Celebration
Megan and Jonathan met in South Carolina and quickly realized they had found that spectacular, madly-in-love kind of connection! While their big celebration was planned for the Bahamas, they decided they needed to make their marriage legally official while on a family vacation to Orlando, Florida.
Megan’s mom, Melinda, took charge and contacted Victoria at Intimate Weddings of Orlando. Victoria is an expert at turning quick trips into perfect wedding days, and she helped them find the ideal elopement package for their needs!
A Secret Garden Ceremony in Celebration
The couple chose a beautiful and classic spot for their official vows: Savannah Square in Celebration, Florida. This picturesque location is famous for its massive, sprawling live oak trees that create a stunning, natural canopy. It felt like a hidden garden—the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony.
Under those ancient oaks, Megan and Jonathan shared their heartfelt marriage vows, exchanged wedding rings, and officially became husband and wife.
Simple, Sweet, and Stress-Free
Every detail of their Orlando elopement was handled with care:
- Beautiful Blooms: Windemere Florist created beautiful floral magic. They designed a lovely, petite bridal bouquet for Megan to carry and a matching boutonniere for Jonathan’s jacket. The flowers added a touch of classic romance to their special day.
- A Personal Officiant: Making the ceremony even more special, Megan’s father officiated the affair! With vows they repeated after him and a few personal words that brought laughter, the ceremony was exactly what the couple was hoping for: personal and fun.
- Capturing the Memories: Edmond with Rhodes Studios was the official wedding photographer. He captured every moment perfectly, from their arrival at the gorgeous venue, all the way through the ceremony, and into the formal family portraits afterward. These photos will be their treasured, timeless memories.
And for one last, perfect touch, Melinda made sure they had a small wedding cake! As she said, “No matter how small the wedding, everyone should have cake!” It was a sweet finish to their stress-free wedding day.
We wish Megan and Jonathan a lifetime of happiness! May all the dreams you share—both in the Bahamas and beyond—come true!
