Laura and John met for the seven years ago and their love for running drew them close. What started out as a quiet friendship developed into true love that has culminated in the two of them getting married.

Rev Glynn Ferguson, an Orlando wedding officiant and owner of Sensational Ceremonies, worked with Laura and Jon to create a whimsically, fun and touching ceremony that fit the two of them perfectly. They are Harry Potter themed ceremony, spoke of love and turning on the light. He also gave the two of them my homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Laura wrote: I love him because from the moment we met almost 7 years ago he had me in fits of
laughter, and he’s been making me laugh ever since. From that day, we’ve been inseparable, and I truly can’t imagine my life without him. He’s loving, caring, affectionate, and brings joy to even the smallest moments. One of the things I admire most is his
passion—especially for running, something we’ve grown to love together. Even as the
world’s most injured man, he always bounces back with determination and a fresh plan. His resilience, humour, and unwavering love make every day better. Like Dumbledore said, “You are protected, in short, by your ability to love.” And it’s his love that has protected, supported, and inspired me every step of the way. I love you now, forever and always.
John wrote: Our journey began nearly seven years ago, and even though I was late for our first date, you still give me a warm smile when I arrived. Since then, we’ve been inseparable, mostly because I have to watch over you whilst you are so clumsy.
Through every stumble and challenge, you’ve always been the one to make light, and look at things from a positive, your resilience never ceases to amaze me.
Things I love about you, your smile, your positively, your energy, and most of all, your kindness. You are the most selfless person I know. I feel so lucky to have you in my life and can’t imagine a life without you in it

Edmond with Rhodes Studios arrived on the wedding day ready to photograph this most magical elopement. Standing there in front of Hogwarts Castle he captured every moment through the exchanging of their vowels and rings and into fun and playful photographs after the ceremony was over. He even brought along a set of wands for them to use as props.
The type of love that Laura and Jon have is not the result of any kind of love potion but of a true and abiding love.
