A Second Chance at Forever: Kristie and Michael’s Orlando Elopement
Talk about a story of fate! Kristie and Michael first met and dated back in high school. But, as sometimes happens, life took them on different paths. They married other people and built families. Later, after both faced the challenges of divorce, a wonderful thing happened: they found their way back to each other, rekindling the love they’d shared years ago.
Kristie and Michael realized that all those years apart only proved one thing: they were truly meant to be together! To seal their unique love story, they chose to elope during a family vacation to Orlando, Florida. What a fun way to turn a trip into a lifetime memory!
Planning a Perfect Intimate Wedding
To plan their special day, they reached out to Victoria with Intimate Weddings of Orlando. Victoria is an expert in creating beautiful, stress-free weddings. She helped them design the perfect intimate elopement package that fit them and their wonderful, combined family perfectly.
Their ceremony was incredibly heartwarming. It included their five daughters, making it clear that this wasn’t just about two people marrying, but two families uniting. They shared a lovely sand ceremony—a great way to show their blended family becoming one—and exchanged special blended family vows.
Atmospheres Floral and Decor made sure Katie and Michael had a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere in the luscious pink roses that they brought for the elopement.
Capturing the Day and Making It Official
Every precious moment of their day was captured by Edmond from Rhodes Studios photo and video. From the emotional ceremony to the formal portraits afterward, the photos were simply breathtaking!
Their custom ceremony was crafted by Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant. Rev. Glynn worked closely with the couple to create a ceremony that fit their unique journey like a glove. He even had them do a sweet homework assignment: writing down why they love each other!
Before they even arrived in Orlando for their elopement, Kristie and Michael smartly used Married By Mail to get their Florida marriage license. This talented team made sure all the paperwork was done ahead of time, making their trip totally worry-free.
