Talk about a fairytale start! Deirdre and Samuel met online, and their great friendship led to a beautiful love story. Their first meeting was at the most magical place on earth: right under Spaceship Earth at Epcot! Later, Samuel chose an equally iconic spot for his proposal—in front of Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom. Their journey is proof that some loves are truly meant to be, no matter the distance!
The Perfect Tropical Vibe
With Deirdre’s family traveling all the way from Ireland for the wedding, the couple knew they wanted a tropical vibe for their big day. They contacted Victoria with Intimate Weddings of Orlando, who helped them find a package that fit them like a glass slipper!
Victoria directed them to the beautiful Leu Gardens package. This spot gave them the perfect mix of lush Florida beauty and a romantic, intimate wedding setting.
A Personalized, Heartfelt Ceremony
To make sure their ceremony was as special as their love story, Deirdre and Samuel worked with Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant. Rev. Glynn helped them create a beautiful custom ceremony that included personalized vows and focused on love, honor, and respect. It was truly created just for them! He even gave them the fun homework assignment of writing down why they love each other.
Stunning Photos and Flowers
Capturing every precious detail was Edmond with Rhodes Studios photo and video. Edmond photographed Deirdre slipping into her wedding dress, her beautiful walk down the aisle, the emotional ceremony, and all the formal portraits afterward. He even took them all over Harry P. Leu Gardens for special photos of just the two of them, surrounded by the stunning flora and fauna.
Speaking of flowers, the gardens themselves were breathtaking! But the floral arrangements created by Flowers by Lesley were equally gorgeous. Deirdre carried a beautiful, all-rose bouquet, perfectly complemented by Samuel’s matching boutonniere.
