Love in the Park: Alex & Chris’s Dreamy Winter Park Micro Wedding

Some of the best love stories start with a simple walk in the park. For Alex and Chris, that wasn’t just a saying—it was their actual first date! After meeting online and taking their time to get to know each other, they knew they were ready for the next big step.

When it came time to plan, they had two big goals: they wanted to stay close to their families in Florida, and they definitely did not want a massive, stressful wedding. They were looking for something small, sweet, and meaningful.

Finding the Perfect “Secret Garden”

The couple reached out to Victoria with Intimate Weddings of Orlando. After looking at several Orlando micro wedding packages, they fell in love with the Kraft Azalea Garden package in beautiful Winter Park.

Known as one of the most romantic spots in Central Florida, this garden features giant cypress trees and a stunning lakeside view. It was exactly the “hidden gem” vibe they wanted for their big day!

A Ceremony Written Just for Them

The heart of the wedding was a beautiful Christian ceremony led by Rev. Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies. As an expert Orlando wedding officiant, Rev. Glynn knows how to make a small wedding feel like a huge deal.

The ceremony was incredibly moving and included:

  • The Blessing of the Hands: A sweet moment reflecting their future together.

  • Traditional Vows: Keeping things classic and timeless.

  • Personal Notes: Rev. Ferguson included special paragraphs that Alex and Chris wrote about why they love each other. There wasn’t a dry eye in the park!

Elegant Details and Perfect Photos

To match the natural beauty of the garden, Atmospheres Floral and Decor created a stunning bouquet and boutonniere using creamy white roses. These classic wedding flowers added a touch of luxury to the earthy, outdoor setting.

Every laugh and look was captured by Edmund with Trueye Photography. He did an amazing job documenting the whole event—from Alex’s walk down the aisle to the couple’s “just married” exit in front of the famous Exedra monument. Thanks to these professional wedding photos, they’ll be able to share their special day for a lifetime!

Alex and Chris proved that you don’t need a huge guest list to have a perfect wedding. Sometimes, all you need is a beautiful garden, your favorite people, and the person you love most.
