A Paddlefish Vow Renewal

A Paddlefish Vow Renewal

Orlando Wedding photographer and photography Rhodes Studios

Chris and Lydia traveled from England to celebrate their tenth anniversary with a vow renewal.  With just the couple and their two son, they decided that an intimate ceremony at Paddlefish was perfect for their family.  Right in the heart of Walt Disney World is Disney Springs with fantastic dinning, shopping and entertainment.

When the couple contacted Intimate Weddings of Orlando they were unaware of all the options they could have for such a small group of people.  They loved the idea of a Disney vow renewal, but said they couldn’t justify spending that kind of money for just the four of them.  When asked what was important to them, they said they wanted a pretty ceremony with lots of great pictures of their family.
Intimate Weddings of Orlando put together a fantastic team for the family.  With Edmund Rhodes of Rhodes Studios photographing everything from their arrival at Paddlefish, through their ceremony on the 3rd floor deck, and on to family pictures around Disney Springs, he captured it all.
Flowers by Lesley captured their vision for Chris and the boy’s boutonnieres and Lydia’s bouquet in beautiful creamy white roses.
For their ceremony the couple worked with Rev.Glynn Ferguson of Sensational Ceremonies to create a custom vow renewal, rich in the love they have shared for the past ten year.  Even though they tell each other often how much they love each other, Rev.Ferguson asked them to each write a paragraph and tell him why they love each other.

She is kind hearted and selfless always thinking of others before her own needs, when we first met she used to care for her great grandma and I saw then what a beautiful soul she had. She is a brilliant mum who loves her boys dearly but she is also a great wife, she wakes me every day with a hot cup of tea and I know im a lucky man! 10 years ago today we said I do and i have watched you become a mum, run marathons and become a disney nut just like me!

I love how you try to get mad when I wind the kids up before bed, but you cant help but smile because your three boys are happy! I love how strong and determined you have become you would run all day if you could but you will always run home to us.

Disney is our happy place and i coulndt think of a better place to say I do all over again but this time with our beautiful sons Joseph and Samuel to witness it, we love you with all our heart and know you love us too

I love how kind, thoughtful and loving he is.

I love that he always supports and encourages me.

I love how no matter how tired he is when he gets home from work he finds the energy to play with our children.

I love how much he loves them.

I love how he works hard for his family.

I love that we can still laugh and have fun together.

I love that we can both do things on our own but I love when we are back together.

I love that from when we very first got together he has always made me feel so loved.

I love that we married eachother.

I love that we have worked together to have the family life we both wanted.

I love that he is my husband and I would love it if he put his cup in the dishwasher.

Congratulations Chris and Lydia on ten years of marriage.  Here is to many more!
