Laura and Derek decided to roll their chance to get married into a family filled fun vacation to Walt Disney World in Orlando. When the couple nailed down their wedding date they immediately contacted Connie with Intimate Weddings of Orlando to help them make their wedding ideas a reality. The couple wanted to make sure that their marriage license would always note that they were married at Walt Disney World.
After looking through the various packages that Intimate Weddings of Orlando has to offer, Laura and Derek chose to have their wedding and reception at Paddlefish at Disney Springs.
The couple had Edmund from Rhodes Studios as their photographer. They were so glad that they had a photographer who a ton of wedding experience and who had also worked at Disney Springs often. Edmund really fit the bill and put them at ease.
Lesley, with Flowers by Lesley, crafted a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere of red roses and greenery. Exactly what the couple ordered. They said that the flowers were more beautiful than they couple have ever imagined and they loved the touch of a hidden Mickey in the bouquet.
Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique created a beautiful cake for Laura and Derek. The yellow cake was filled with raspberries nad covered in white buttercream.
Rev. Glynn Ferguson, an official Walt Disney Wedding Officiant and owner of Sensational Ceremonies, worked with Laura and Derek to craft a beautiful intimate ceremony that hit on all the things that were important to them. Short, sweet, and very personal. He even gave them a homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other. It was beautiful!
Married by Mail helped the two of them to get their Florida Marriage License before they ever arrived in Florida. The license was delivered to their officiant to bring to the ceremony. No hassle and nothing to worry about on the wedding day.
We wish them happiness for a lifetime!
