Jargita and Chris were supposed to get married near their home on the west side of Florida, but a hurricane may have created a change of plans for them when they’re home and the wedding venue were extensively damaged by the storm.
The couple contacted Intimate Weddings of Orlando and Connie quickly made arrangements for them to get married at the beautiful Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park.
With towering bald cypress trees and the beautiful Greek-style Exedria in the parking lot, this was the perfect location for Jargita and Chris to get married.
Flowers by Lesley created a beautiful, soft light pink bouquet for the bride and a matching boutonnière for the groom. The colors were a great accent to the couples wedding attire.
Christopher Smith with Captured by Chris was there to make sure that every moment of the couples wedding day was captured for them to share and enjoy for years to come. From Jargita and Chris walking down the aisle, through the ceremony, and even the first kiss, Chris did a great job of capturing the beauty of their wedding day.
Rev Glynn Ferguson with Sensational Ceremonies, worked with Jargita and Chris to craft a beautiful custom ceremony that fit the two of them like a glove. He also gave the two of them a homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Jargita wrote: The moment we met, the first thing that captured my attention was your piercing green eyes that seemed to look straight through me. That moment I knew that there is something special about you. Over time I learned how amazing and caring person you are and you care about everybody around you, including strangers. Chris, you are very giving and thoughtful and expect nothing in return, your kindness and compassion is unmatched. The one thing that really stood out from the very beginning how protective you are of me and your commitment to make me feel safe and protected which is so important to me.
Honey, you are so incredibly loving and generous and always making me feel cherished and supported. Also you have the way to make me laugh like no one else and our time together is always filled with fun and laughter.
I am so incredibly lucky to have you in my life and looking forward to the rest of our lives together
Chris wrote: I never thought I’d meet someone as perfect as her. She’s incredibly smart, kind, giving, hard-working, an incredible mother, so thoughtful, loyal and can enjoy the simple things in life with me (like our walks on the ocean before our home was destroyed in Helene). Like the disaster that hit both of us, she never got angry or filled with drama and addressed it with her normal calm and reassuring attitude. PLUS she is the best dentist you will ever find.
Over the years, I pretty much gave up on finding my perfect match and never thought I’d be so blessed to have met my soul mate. Not only do we complete each other’s sentences, but in the 3.5 years we have dated, we have NEVER had an argument. I feel blessed to have found the perfect woman for me.
