Andrew and Jessica traveled from Missouri to get married at Characters in Flight at Disney Springs, in Orlando. The couple loved the idea of saying their “I Dos” high in the sky with their family and friends around.
Victoria, with Intimate Weddings of Orlando worked with the couple to make sure every detail was taken care of. From lining up their vendors to putting hidden Mickeys in their flowers, we did a great job.
Speaking of flowers. Flowers by Lesley was on top with the beautiful pink all rose bouquet and matching boutonniere. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. Andrew and Jessica were surprised by how full the bouquet was and pretty everything turned out.
Edmund with Rhodes Studios worked his magic on this beautiful sky high wedding for Andrew and Jessica. From photos of them receiving their flowers through the ceremony in the sky and then formals on the ground, he captured it all.
Since Andrew and Jessica were traveling to Florida to get married they needed a Florida Marriage License. Married by Mail worked with the two of them to get all the legal paperwork for their marriage license and then delivered it to their officiant, before they ever arrived in Florida.
Rev. Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World Wedding Officiant was more than happy to help make magic for Andrew and Jessica’s wedding. From working with them to create a custom ceremony to pinning on Andrew’s boutonniere. He made sure everyone was relaxed and the ceremony was perfect.
Rev. Ferguson gave Andrew and Jessica a homework assignment to make their unique ceremony in the sky, personal and beautiful. He asked them to write an tell him why they love each other.
Andrew wrote: All too often I’m pessimistic and say no more often than I should. Four years ago, if someone had asked me if I’d travel during a global pandemic to visit another state during its hottest month to float 400 feet in the air on a helium balloon, I would have said ‘You might be the first person to ever put those words together in that order. NO, and leave me alone.’ But if they had asked me three years and 228 days ago, I would have said “Is Jessica going to be there?”
In the past 1,324 days I have created more memories than I ever have and it’s all because I finally found someone who is far more positive and outgoing than I am negative and introverted. Because she makes me want to say yes. She is what I need. She’s shown me the silver lining so much that I can’t imagine us getting married anywhere else than among the clouds. And so here I am now, with her, saying yes and feeling like “optimistic” isn’t a big enough word for how I feel about all the new memories we’re about to make together.
Jessica wrote: What I adore about Andrew:
Andrew is the most thoughtful, creative and mischievous person I have ever met. He is a person that you can unapologetically be yourself around and feel safe. He puts his family first and I am excited and honored to be his family now.
Congratulations to the two of you. May your love soar as high as the balloon!
