Ben and Shelly
Ben and Shelly traveled from Kent for a holiday in Orlando Florida and decided that it would be the perfect opportunity for them to get married. The couple contacted Victoria with Intimate Weddings of Orlando to see what the options would be.
Victoria directed Ben and Shelly to the elopement package found on their website and it seemed to be a perfect fit for the two of them.,. With only their two daughters and two mothers with them, they didn’t want the hassle of renting a big venue, they wanted something that was Intimate and bespoke.
Edmond with TruEye Photography did a beautiful job of capturing every minute of Ben and Shelly‘s wedding day. From the moment they stepped out of their cars, through their ceremony and into formal portraits afterwards Edmond was able to capture everything perfectly.
Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and, worked with Ben and Shelly to create a beautiful custom ceremony that fit the two of them like a glove. Their ceremony spoke of love in friendship and was filled with words that they had written for each other in a homework assignment that he had given them.
Ben wrote: Shelly, my soul mate, you fill the missing piece of me that I didn’t know I needed until I met you, and now you make me complete. You’re my perfection, my dream, my reality. You don’t realize how much I use to look forward to seeing you weekends when we first started dating, I would wish the weekdays gone just to be with you, I wish I could go back to the time you first told me you loved me and opened up to me in the rain and my response was “thank you”, I just want you to know I did love you then but I didn’t want to admit it and get hurt again, but I do wish I said it back to you at that time. The only other regret I have is not knowing you earlier so I could have loved you even longer and shared more time and great memories with you. But from this day on we can continue to make everlasting memories but now as my wife. I love you so much.
Shelly wrote: The reason I love Ben is because he is the most selfless person I know. Without him, we wouldn’t be where we are today—his hard work, dedication, and constant sacrifices have built the life we have today. He always puts my needs and the kids’ needs before his own, never asking for anything in return. He silently carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, and still manages to show up for us whenever we need him. He is appreciated more than he will ever know.
To him, he probably thinks he’s just my husband, but to me.. He’s the one I get to grow old with. The partner I get to raise my family with. The man I admire, more than he’ll ever fully understand. He is the strength in our home. The one whole makes me laugh the loudest. The steady presence that makes all the hard things worth it. The promise that no matter what we face, we face it together. He has no idea how deeply he is woven into every aspect of my life. And how much safer, steadier and stronger this world feels simply because he is in it, and because he is mine. I am endlessly grateful to share this life with someone as incredible as him.
The beautiful creamy white roses that adorned Shelly’s bouquet and Ben’s boutonniere were absolutely luxurious. They were the exact color of vanilla ice cream, impaired with the green stems and wrapped ribbon around them. It was the perfect cherry on top for their wedding day. Raining Roses Productions did an excellent job of making these florals look AMAZING.
